Hi, I'm Elise.
I am a landscape photographer currently living in Adelaide, Australia. I was born in Amsterdam, and fell in love with my now husband during my travels to Australia. We have a beautiful daughter and son and have been calling South Australia home since 2010.
I have always been a creative person, mostly thanks to my mother. As a child, I recall she too often had a camera with her, and she opened my eyes to the world of travel on our many camping trips around Europe. I bought my first camera when I went on that trip where I met my husband, and have loved photography ever since.
I have been fortunate to be able to visit many beautiful places around the world in my life, which has translated into a deep sense of gratitude for all the natural world has to offer. Over the years, my sense of awe about nature has developed into a passion to share this with others.
In search for the most interesting light, you can generally find me near the ocean, in search for starry skies and Aurora, or admiring dramatic landscapes both at home and on my travels.
